Army Reserve to start Wichita unit in 2011
The 451st Expeditionary Sustainment Command will be based at the Lanny J. Wallace Army Reserve Center in Wichita bringing hundreds of jobs and signaled Army leadership presence to southeast Kansas. Activation is planned for Sept. 16, 2011 with about 250 personnel under a two year carrier status led by a brigadier general.
