How to make Strawberry Jam with Certo
Start with 2 lbs fully ripe berries halved and packed into 2 quarts. Add 7 level cups sugar and mix. bring to rolling boil on high heat for 2 to 3 minutes. Remove from fire, stir in 1/2 cup Certo, skim and cool five minutes, then pour into hot jars and seal with hot paraffin. Certo preserves flavor and color with a shorter boil, yielding more jam.
