State lakes mired in drought hit Memorial Day plans
Kansas drought leaves Kanopolis and other western lakes far below normal levels. Officials warn boat ramps close and safety risks rise as reservoirs like Marion Cedar Bluff Webster Cheney drop well below conservation levels amid the third year of drought impacting regional water supplies.
