Two Local Auto Crashes Injure Three People
At 10 30 p m two cars collided at 9th and Iowa Streets. Becky S Heck 18 and Cheryl L White 17 were drivers. Sherry J Anderson 21 a passenger sustained minor injuries and were treated at Lawrence Memorial Hospital. Damage totaled 250 to the Heck car and the White car was demolished. At 1 p m on Kentucky Street a motorcycle driven by Peter M Schumacher 19 and auto driven by Judith Ackerman 19 collided. Schumacher suffered abrasions treated at Watkins Hospital. Both vehicles had minor damages.
