Sedgwick County Sheriff Jeff Easter said the two day session by ex FBI agent John Guandolo will not be sponsored by the department. CAIR had urged cancellation citing bias against Islam while supporters defend the program’s aim to identify threats. The training, costing 150 dollars per person, had attracted officers from across the state but will not include Sedgwick County deputies.

Wichita State University engineer Shawn Ehrstein and Beechcraft's Scott Yeakley spearhead a private public partnership that insourced over 82 000 hours of Beechcraft engineering work by 2013 involving about 80 WSU undergraduates.
