Actor Robert Downey Jr. pleaded not guilty this week in Riverside County to reduced drug charges from a November Palm Springs hotel arrest. He wore amber glasses and a blue suit in court and is due back on July 16.
Dylan turns 60 and donates the song Shelter From the Storm to a public service ad for World Wildlife Fund. He says animals were his first fans and this is payback. The move marks his first use of his music for charity.
On May 25, 1961 Kennedy urged a moon mission by decade’s end. In 1787 the Constitutional Convention began in Philadelphia. MTVs Real World returns to Manhattan in a 4000 square foot brownstone for its 10th season with four women and three men. The one hour premiere airs July 3 at 9 p.m. CDT with a half hour format thereafter through December. Creators Bunim and Murray stress diverse real life storytelling over scripted drama as editors shape five months of footage into each episode.
