Doctor Arrested in Brink's Case in New York
FBI announced the arrest of New York City physician Alan Berkman age 39, on the run for two years since his indictment for treating suspects in the Brink's armored car robbery and killings in Rockland County. Berkman was nabbed in Bucks County Pennsylvania after his car was forced to stop. He wore a brown wig and had a loaded revolver in his lap. Elizabeth Duke 44 of Austin Texas was arrested with him. FBI said they were members of the May 19 Communist Movement a Marxist group seeking to overthrow the U S government. Duke also had a loaded revolver when stopped.
