Robert CO died at his brother Chas Tall’s home in Endora after a morning illness. Funeral services will be at his father’s home in Fintura Sunday at 3 pm. burial in Hesper Cemetery after the Friends church service. He moved from Vesper in 1883 and was long a member of the Friends Church.
New York May 25 police say Henry Beeker confessed to the murder of Amelia Staf felst in Elmhurst. He claimed the crime occurred with a man whose name he did not know. Authorities found a bloodstained shirt in a laundry Beeker had visited after the murder and a handkerchief bearing initials.
In Police Court Mr March notified Police Tead quarter about a perch left on a porn night. Officers alleged the perch belonged to Tivke Jain Derry who was arrested yesterday for being drunk and rests the threys, convicted this morning and fined. At the New Nicklas opening crowds were managed by staff and a large wife and others prepared early to avoid rush.

John Lewis of Douglas county married Miss Maude Howell this afternoon in the probate office Judge Crittenden officiated. Lewis is under conviction for killing Houston McNees and owes his liberty to a bail bond. Howell had testified for the prosecution and later for the defense at the trials.
May 25. Elmer Pratt, a prominent young farmer of Dohason county, shot and killed W. F. Connell, a neighboring farmer. The murder stems from an old feud on Pratt’s land adjoining his farm in Iowa City, Iowa.
May 25 report from St. Louis states Edmer Martin awaiting trial for desertion from the artillery was killed by Sentry Joseph Cothran while attempting to escape. Ward Vo Anderson, also awaiting desertion trial, escaped and has since been apprehended.
