Milner allegedly passed a 189 50 check July 11 drawn on a Topeka bank in St Joseph. Bond set at 5000. arrest followed tips from local merchants to Sheriff Rex Johnson. Topeka Woman Injured In Morning Motorcycle Crash Near Midland
Beth I. Thornwell a 39 year old Topeka resident remained in fair condition today at Lawrence Memorial Hospital after a motorcycle accident on U S Highway 24 59 near Midland store. She was westbound at about 10 35 a m when her cycle left the shoulder then she was thrown landing 46 feet north of the bike. Her husband Donald 40 a Topeka firefighter suffered minor injuries after his cycle slid on the highway. She and her machine sustained reported damages of 200 and 50 dollars respectively.
