Maryland Boy Death Note Ties to South Park Cartoon
A 12-year-old Maryland boy reportedly left a note for his parents urging them to watch the TV cartoon South Park to understand why he killed himself. The note references Kenny, a silent third grader who is killed violently in every episode. Maryland State Police declined to release a copy of the note. Police say the bag over the boy’s head was secured with tape and a drawn cord. South Park on Comedy Central is noted for crude humor and recurring Kenny deaths. The incident site is Maryland, with a later mention of Georgia.
