Lawrence School District to discuss teacher and staff contracts
Lawrence district leaders meet in executive session to discuss contract negotiations with nine employee unions including PAL CWA Local 6400 representing paraeducators custodial food service and classified staff. Current contract expires June 20 with wage and benefit disputes and a June 1 bargaining session planned. Budget cuts funding gaps and planned staffing changes also loom.
