Man ordered to stand trial for attempted murder in Douglas County
Joyce Tyler Ingham, 36, of Iola, was ordered to stand trial in Douglas County District Court on two felony counts of intentional attempted murder in the second degree and one misdemeanor count of criminal damage. The Dec 3 2022 incident involved a van wheel grab while he was a passenger, allegedly aiming to kill others including a 17 year old. A witness admitted she may have misled police, prompting a court appointed attorney. Trial set for Aug 21 with $60,000 bond.
