Father questions police tips in hit and run case trial
The father of Christopher Bread, killed in a March 1990 hit and run, says he is very concerned about a woman's claim that Lawrence police ignored tips. Kris McCleery testified she overheard a CB radio tip and later provided numbers, but police did not follow up. Douglas County Sheriff Loren Anderson said he would comment after the trial.
