WHS Graduation Planned for Friday
About 300 students will graduate from Lawrence Junior High School at 2 p.m. Friday in the Junior High School Auditorium. Rev. Dale Turner of Plymouth Congregational Church will deliver the address Sleeping Through a Revolution. The processional will be by the orchestra directed by Robert Zillcox and music by the mixed chorus led by Mrs Zillox with Justin Pier as soloist. Judy Klein is accompanist. Invocation by Rev. Five traffic violation cases were heard in police court. John Pap of 108 Mound view was fined 15 dollars for speeding. Elmer McClendon of 1201 Prairie Ave faced a 10 dollar fine suspended for two traffic school sessions for failing to yield the right of way. One-car crash west of Lawrence causes damage
