Arising from KU incident Myers given probation and sex offender status
Prosecutor described the October 26 2016 battery in Oliver Hall lobby where Myers touched a woman sexually and may have assaulted a second woman. Judge Sally Pokorny accepted a plea convicting him of a misdemeanor, placing him on one year supervised probation and 15 years sex offender registration with strict conditions and possible jail if violated. Myers defense cited head injury and post concussion syndrome plus alcohol. He has sought treatment and returned to Arlington Texas.
