Informant spurred Hoffa remains search at Hidden Dreams Farm

Detroit informant Donovan Wells, an ailing prison inmate, first told the FBI in 1976 about possible Hoffa remains at property later linked to Hidden Dreams Farm. Wells, ex Trucker with no Teamsters role, discussed heavy machinery on the farm near Milford Township during plea talks, with later details evolving after a 1975 disappearance. The farm owner, Rolland McMaster, and his longtime ties to Hoffa were noted, and FBI searches in the 1970s yielded no discoveries.
