Guerrillas and Phalangists trade fire near Beirut

Panel weighs beef grading changes in hearings
A House subcommittee in Washington opens hearings on the Agriculture Department grading standards for beef. The changes, now stalled, are also in court in Omaha where producers and consumer groups challenge them. Rep.
