No third trial in Haskell rape case against Satoe
Douglas County prosecutors will not pursue a third trial against 22 year old Galen Satoe in the 2014 Haskell dormitory rape case. Satoe and co defendant Jared Wheeler faced two and one prior trials respectively with charges including rape and aggravated sodomy. Jailing and investigation disputes complicated proceedings though Satoe was acquitted on one count and juries hung on others.
