Baker Long to Retire. Lynne Murray Named Baker President
Baker University announces Pat Longs retirement after eight years as president. She will pass the reins July 1 to Lynne Murray from Gallaudet University who was chosen as the 29th president. The ceremony honored Long with an honorary doctorate for herself and Dennis Long as alumni and supporters. Graduate memories praised Long for genuine care and campus spirit as students prepare for new paths beyond Baker.
