In the final days of the legislative session a proposal to ban thimerosal in vaccines stalled in committee. Linda Weinmaster, whose son Adam is affected, expressed disappointment as the 2006 session ended May 10. Proponents say a Kansas ban could come in 2007, but medical groups warned of vaccine supply and antivenin implications.
