Kansas ABLE act expands state tax benefits and protections
Gov. Jeff Colyer praised House Bill 2067 expanding ABLE accounts for Kansans with disabilities. The law allows up to 3000 dollars yearly tax deductions for individuals and 6000 for joint filers, and bars state clawbacks of remaining funds after death unless required by federal law. Funds may transfer to the estate or another ABLE account.
