Campanile bells mark KU commencement tradition continues
The Campanile walk remains a long standing commencement ritual at the University of Kansas. Carillonneur Elizabeth Berghout will play the bells before and after Sunday's ceremony, while Jeff Weinberg notes the tradition has lasted half a century. Bartkoski, a graduate, plans to walk through the Campanile after finals.

KU Hospital to Buy 14 Acres for Parking and Growth
The University of Kansas Hospital announced plans to purchase 14 acres at the northwest corner of 39th Street and State Line Road from TRD Associates LLC for an undisclosed price. Initial use is patient parking with future plans to be announced, after considering the site for a Center for Advanced Heart Care before selecting land beside the current hospital.
