Seattle climber dies after Rainier rescue
A seriously injured climber rescued by helicopter from Mount Rainier has died. Peter Cooley, 39, of Cape Elizabeth, Maine, was retrieved after a head injury from 12,300 feet. His companion Scott Richards, 42, was reached by rangers but rescue was delayed due to terrain and weather.
