Redshirt year shapes Kevin Long at Kansas
Kevin Long faces a tough transition at Kansas as a redshirt freshman. He recalls the mental and physical jump from high school to Division I football, the 6 a.m. lifting, and the need to study and communicate with professors. Long plans to earn playing time through hard work, film study, and summer workouts, while advising next year’s freshmen to stay humble and patient.
