RILONTAN Sunk Off Genoa With Four Crew Lost
Four members of the 39 crew of the American steamship Rilontan were lost when the vessel, carrying provisions, was torpedoed and sunk off Genoa Italy. Captain P H Williams commanded the 2921 ton ship, which departed April 7 with a cargo and 18 American citizens aboard. The Universal Telegram Company reported the loss in a cablegram to the owners.
