Congress Passes Dam at St Cloud and Other Bills
The Fifty eighth Congress approved a bill granting federal consent for constructing a dam ship at St Cloud. Senate amendments to the Indian appropriation bill were not adopted. The court of commissioners of the Alabama claims extends to December 31, 1885. The eastern and northern Texas judicial districts are reorganized and a portion of Indian Territory attached to them.
