Mighty Ducks reach Stanley Cup finals in upset fashion

Anaheim inched closer to the title as the seventh seed defeated Minnesota 2-1 to sweep the series. Adam Oates scored twice and Jean-Sebastien Giguere stopped 24 shots on his 26th birthday, extending Anaheim’s playoff run and setting up a final against the winner of New Jersey and Ottawa.
