Final test for Roosevelt and Garner in Democratic primaries
The Oregon primary shapes the final delegate fight between President Roosevelt and Vice President Garner for 10 convention votes. McNary runs unopposed for a Republican favorite son slot as Roosevelt's camp solidifies with the Oregon Commonwealth Federation backing. Michigan and Wisconsin give mixed signals as Taft and Landon circle, while Dewey's camp anticipates shifts.
