He denied any intent to disturb peace and said he minds his own business. Evans home is Wichita and his father Harl W Evans is a Wichita attorney. He previously attended Cornell University and joined Signa Phi Kappa fraternity at KU, 1919 Kentucky Street.

Bright Costumes Shine in May Fete at Stadium Field
Over two hundred girls from the University of the Physical Education department staged a May Fete in the stadium yard amid rain. The procession began from Marvin Grove then moved to the stadium with bright costumes and a parade of dances including In Old Fashioned Garden and flower and fairy tableaux. Miss Leabel Schreiber wrote the lyric for the fete and designed the program decorations while the University band provided music.
