Diabetic teen brothers create hopeful diabetes comics
Kamaal and Malcolm Washington, 13 and 11, Kansas City Kansas, craft comics featuring Dr Diabetes and Omega Boy to educate about Type 1 diabetes. They sell online and soon at Walgreens CVS and comic shops. The duo have donated profits to diabetes causes and joined a Children's Congress to advocate for research funding.
