Cape Cod Home Featured on House Beautiful Tour
The Lawrence AAUW House Beautiful Tour opens the Prof. Francis Heller residence at 1515 Meadow Lane, a Cape Cod style home with gray siding and white trim. The Hellers, including eight year old Dewey, showcase a living room with multilingual rug, maple and Danish furniture, antique mantel, maps from 1662 to 1785, and a sun deck. The home features a cherry dining room, needlepoint upholstery, Osage Orange shade tree, a kitchen with white and red accents, and a study with knotty pine. The master suite uses olive greens, blue and olive curtains, and a fireplace, while Dewey’s room displays Revolutionary War prints. The New England influence appears throughout with an added sun deck and a purple blue bath nearby.
