U S Mint Resumes Tours at Philadelphia and Denver
The U S Mint restarted same day tours at its Philadelphia and Denver facilities after being paused since the Sept 11 attacks. Philadelphia tours run 9 am to 3 pm Monday to Friday with lineups on Fifth Street. Denver tours run 9 am to 3 pm Monday, and 8 am to 3 pm Tuesday through Friday. Both tours are free. Philadelphia is self guided and all visitors pass through metal detectors with photo ID required.
