Impressive Annabelle dinosaur skeleton on display at KU
The 50 foot long 140 million year old camarasaurus skeleton Annabelle debuted on the fifth floor of Dyche Hall at Kansas University. Director Leonard Krishtalka calls it the real bones not a cast as officials plan a possible 35 million dollar new museum to house more bones. Until then Annabelle remains a centerpiece drawing thousands to KU’s Museum of Natural History, with researchers studying its significance for KU’s reputation.
