Lawrences lodge members attended the Ku Klux Pythians grand lodge session in Manhattan. Dignitaries W. E. Dives and A. L. Lowe attended. Mrs. J. Joy and Mrs. A L C Cooper were noted in attendance for the Pythian Sisters bowling event.
City commissioners andInterurban Railway executives reached a preliminary understanding on laying interurban track along a block of Main Street. The plan calls for about 100 feet beyond the current station and a remaining 40 feet to cross before connecting with the local system. Officials stressed no permanent crossing until the interurban franchise is secured and the transfer is settled.
W A McKeever of the University of Kang prepares to publish the department of child welfare largest bulletin yet a bibliography of 250 books and pamphlets on child welfare and youth problems. It will be sent to welfare workers with extensive references and detailed notes.
Mr. Greg was recently judged insane in probate court as a result of a long period of ill health. Taken to the state hospital at Topeka Saturday afternoon by Shortt W. Cummings.

The annual meeting of the Board of Alumni Visitors will be held this week to discuss methods to aid the University. The board members include Ott Hopkins as president of the Potential Trust Topeka along with several executives and clerks contributing to the alumni association’s efforts.
Democrats of Douglas county meet in Lawrence to approve a unified slate for county offices. The lineup includes Murtt Ceiffin of Kadoera for county judge, Herida Broeker for clerk, TL Batting for sheriff, and other offices like surveyor and superintendent. Petitions and ballot steps were outlined to secure their spots.
The Tarwence Mini adopted a motion during a morning session to send Alliance representatives to talk with serena follow- up on Sunday practices.
