Death of UT student sparks hazing probe by Texas Cowboys
The body of 19 year old Gabriel Higgins was found after a late night initiation party for the Texas Cowboys at the University of Texas. Autopsy shows drowning with blood alcohol twice legal limit. Authorities cite a tradition of silence hindering investigations as they seek to determine alcohol sources and potential hazing. Higgins had attended Galveston O Connell High School and later Idaho. Officials say cooperation may be improving as more people come forward.
