Conference urges state workers to promote diversity
The keynote Edwin J. Nichols urged state agencies at the Lawrence Holidome two day cultural diversity conference to view differences as assets. Kansas Secretary of Administration Susan Seltsam outlined steps to bridge gaps, remove barriers, and strengthen management. The event draws about 50 attendees and continues through Wednesday with diverse speakers.
