Bill to seal concealed gun permit records sent to governor
Kansas lawmakers moved to seal all records showing who applies for or holds concealed gun permits in a compromise bill sent to Gov. Kathleen Sebelius. The measure closes names, applications, and denial details, while a separate version would allow only names and home counties to be released in limited cases. Sebelius has not decided whether to sign or veto, citing need for public debate and hearings.
