Miller couple marks 60 years in Eudora celebration
Vincent G Miller and Ruth M Whitton celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary with a family gathering in Eudora. Married May 16 1942 at United Brethren Church Kansas City Kaw they built long careers with Sunshine Biscuits Mutual of Omaha and Kaw Valley State Bank Ruth rose to vice president. 4-H AND FCE NEWS FROM EUDORA CLUB MEETING
The Eudora 4-H Club met at the Douglas County 4 H Grounds to clean up trash. Members heard about a waterfall photo entry, entomology bug sources, Cinco de Mayo origins, a puzzle for younger members, and a fine group dance with pizza afterward. Upcoming events include June 3 at St Paul United Church, weigh ins, meetings, and a Kanwaka FCE outing with a potluck and local tours.

Free State High School will open the merchandise room from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. today for parents or friends of graduates to buy gifts. Enter through the side entrance on the north side of the school at 4700 Overland Drive.
