Couple killed in two-vehicle crash south of Lawrence
Kansas Highway Patrol identified Raymond H. Heinsohn and Betty E. Heinsohn both 72 and 68 as the victims of a Saturday night collision south of Lawrence. A 1995 Honda driven by Patrick M. Boyle 19 struck the Heinsohns’ 1996 Chevrolet van, which failed to stop at a stop sign at the North 1000 Road and US 59 intersection. Boyle had minor injuries and refused treatment. The van rolled onto its top, ejecting the occupants, while the Honda also went into the northwest ditch.
