Cottonwood 4-H Club held talks on sewing cooking parliamentary procedure and music with leaders announcing a junior leaders meeting and health talk.
In Wichita Dr. John L. Blank of Hutchinson was elected president elect of the Kansas Medical Society at the close of its 114th annual convention. Dr. Thomas F. Taylor of Salina was installed as president for the coming year. Blank previously led the State Board of Health and Taylor has served on the board for six years.
The Lawrence Christian Women's Club executive board led by Mrs. Dwight Boring visited Stonecroft national headquarters in Kansas City on Tuesday. Delegates included dozens of members such as Mrs. John ny Ezell Mrs. Harold Flanders and Mrs. Foy Brown. The group plans monthly luncheon meetings on the first Tuesday at the Holiday Inn.
