Death of Jane Cox Tate 89 in Kansas City area
Jane Cox Tate, 89, died May 5 2011 at Claridge Court Care Center. A private graveside service preceded a 4 to 5 pm May 9 reception at Claridge Court Hall. Born August 1 1921 in Oliver Springs Tennessee she taught in Tiptonville World War II era. She spent many years in Kansas City with husband Billy Tate until his 2009 death. Active in Brownie and Girl Scout leadership, church and schools, she valued family above all. Surviving children are Linda Woodsmall Lydia Belot and Annette Steinauer with several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Memorials to Village Presbyterian Church. Condolences at mtmoriah freeman.
