Facebook adds safeguards for young users in privacy pact
Facebook and 49 states plus Washington DC signed a safety agreement to curb online predators and cyberbullying. The plan bans convicted sex offenders, tightens contact rules for users under 18, and develops age verification tools. Texas did not endorse the pact.
