Cone May Miss Season After Shoulder Aneurysm
New York Yankees pitcher David Cone remains hospitalized in Columbia Presbyterian for tests on a very small aneurysm in the front of his right shoulder. If surgery is needed it could sideline him for at least a month or the season, casting doubt on his return this year. The Yankees will only declare plans after test results, while Cone has posted a 4-1 record with a 2.03 ERA and had been slated to pitch Tuesday night before the illness.
