Roadwork and closures sweep area streets this spring
Intersections at 10th 11th and Connecticut Street stay closed for a waterline replacement project slated for completion in August. Eas Ninth Street south eastbound lane closed until Thursday for sanitary sewer repairs with traffic moved to the north side. 900 block of Rhode Island and the alley between Rhode Island and Connecticut closed to thru traffic. A roundabout project at Harvard Road and Wakarusa Drive continues with southbound lanes closed and detours onto northbound lanes. Kasold Drive reconstruction starts at Kasold and Bob Billings Parkway with lanes narrowed. project ends by year end 2018. Queens Road and Wakarusa Drive intersection remains closed for reconstruction with August 2018 completion.
