School withdraws Sebelius invitation
CINCINNATI AP A Roman Catholic high school withdrew its invitation to Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius to speak at graduation and to receive an award because of her support for abortion rights. The school said it reconsidered after initially nominating her for the June 5 commencement. The archbishop advised that a diocesan school would not honor her, citing a Catholic Life document on politics and Holy Communion. Sebelius, a 2002 elected governor and Summit alumna, expressed disappointment over the decision.
