Mrs Jamison Retires From Haskell Institute
Mrs Ethel Jamison head cook assistant at Haskell Indian Institute retires this month though she will work through July. She began at Haskell in 1946 and also teaches cooking. A birthday retirement party in Sacajawea Hall honored her with gifts, notes, and flowers from students and staff. Special guests included two daughters Mrs Brubaker and Mrs Klamm.

Junior Troop of Woodlawn School held a Hidden Valley campout directed by Mary Anna Woods with troop leader Mrs Geraldine Vanderslice. Members included Carol Pratt Cindy Miller Dale Jean Gregg Patty Trujillo Rennie Howard Mary Louise Jones Connie Sheppard Brenda Miller Carol Price and Donna Lanna. Eudora Troop 707 displayed shells at a Grade School meeting led by Mrs Bea Workman and Miss Dottie Workman. Third grade guests from Wakarusa Valley School attended Troop 639’s party and court of awards at leader Mrs Harry Winters home Route 5. The troop plans an overnight campout May 27 and 28 at Lone Star Lake.
