Kansan pleads guilty in fatal swatting hoax case
Kansas man Shane Gaskill pled guilty in federal court to wire fraud for his role in a swatting hoax that led to Wichita police shooting 28 year old Andrew Finch in his home on December 28, 2017. He admitted arguing with online gamer Casey Viner and providing an old address, with Viner recruiting Tyler Barriss to make the false report.
