Woman Found Dead After Car Fire Near Rock Creek

Johnson County investigators identified Carolyn Bower from dental records after a white Mazda 626 burned beyond recognition at a lakefront boat ramp near Rock Creek. Her unattended death was reported as a possible case linked to an alimony and child support dispute. court proceedings were pending before her demise.
