Outcomes for students by the Exit Out task force
The January developed outcomes require students to master core skills in reading writing listening speaking math social studies science and computing and apply knowledge through reasoning problem solving organizing information and understanding systems. They must show high personal skills including self esteem self management honesty integrity healthy habits strong work ethic cooperation flexibility creativity and arts appreciation. Leadership ethics community involvement parental role understanding multicultural society citizenship rights and environmental responsibility are stressed along with readiness for graduation and postsecondary learning opportunities.
Linwood Council Approves Oak Street Repairs
Linwood City Council announced plans Tuesday to improve about three blocks of the dirt road east from Main Street. Alma Dove, substitute city clerk, said the street will be graded and rock laid to provide drivers an alternate route around blocked railroad crossings on Main Street.
