Baumans sell pasture raised eggs to Lawrence co-op
The Bauman family in Garnett runs a small egg operation selling fresh brown eggs to the Community Market Co-op in Lawrence each Thursday. They emphasize outside access, all natural feed, and a value added label that highlights real people behind the food. The family, including six children, handles gathering washing grading and packaging by hand. They also raise beef and dairy cattle and organic broilers while managing a busy daily schedule and loan payments.
